FICEP S.p.A., a company operating in the metalworking sector, is looking to strengthen its team and is seeking a:

TIME & METHODS MANAGER

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Defining, updating and maintaining production routings, manufacturing operations, standard times and work instructions, ensuring consistency with technical drawings, bills of materials and production capabilities.

  • Analysing production processes through shop-floor observations, identifying inefficiencies and proposing solutions to optimise times, methods, workflows, equipment and resource utilisation.

  • Collaborating with Production, Technical Office, Quality and Production Planning teams on the industrialisation of new products and technical modifications, assessing feasibility, timing, costs and potential critical issues.

  • Supporting production planning by providing reliable data on cycle times, production capacity, workloads and operational constraints.

  • Promoting continuous improvement projects, process standardisation and waste reduction according to Lean principles, monitoring results and ensuring the continuous updating of technical documentation.

Requirements:

  • Technical or Mechanical Engineering diploma or degree.

  • Solid experience in Production, Industrialisation or Time & Methods, preferably within the mechanical engineering industry.

  • Excellent knowledge of technical drawings, manufacturing routings, bills of materials and mechanical workshop processes.

  • Experience in cycle-time analysis, standard-time definition and optimisation of working methods.

  • Knowledge of product and process industrialisation principles, production layouts, equipment, tooling and Lean Manufacturing/Kaizen principles.

  • Good knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.

  • Strong analytical skills, a continuous improvement mindset, problem-solving abilities and excellent interpersonal skills.
