Our subsidiary FICEP Corporation proudly celebrated the official groundbreaking of its future U.S. headquarters in Alpharetta, GA, marking an exciting milestone in the company’s continued growth and commitment to the North American market.
Situated on nearly 20 acres, Phase 1 of this state-of-the-art facility will feature close to 60,000 square feet of warehouse and showroom space, along with a modern two-story office complex.
The new Alpharetta site will serve as a strategic hub for FICEP’s North American operations, supporting assembly, testing, and, eventually localized manufacturing. The facility reflects FICEP’s commitment to “local-for-local” production and increasing service capabilities, while fostering deeper integration within the American steel fabrication community.

“This new site is far more than a building,” said Christian Colombo, Chairman of FICEP Group. “It represents a new model for growth, education, and innovation. Here, we will train the next generation of steel fabricators, engineers, and technicians in partnership with leading institutions and associations in our industry.”

The Alpharetta campus will feature cutting-edge robotic welding systems, hybrid laser and milling solutions, and AI-integrated platforms for energy monitoring and carbon footprint analysis. It will also become a showcase for 4D and 5D BIM technologies — part of FICEP’s vision to lead a new era in smart, sustainable steel fabrication.

The groundbreaking event also introduced the “FICEP Gives Back” initiative, a long-term partnership with the Semper Fi Foundation that underscores FICEP’s shared values with the American community and its appreciation for those who have served.
“This investment cements our roots in Georgia,” Colombo concluded. “Together with our American partners, we are not only building machines, but a lasting legacy of innovation, education, and commitment.”

The event was attended by distinguished guests and organizations including Georgia State Representative Carter Barrett, Forsyth County Chamber President Alex Warner, District 5 Commissioner Laura Semanson, and representatives from the Semper Fi & America’s Fund Organization.

This groundbreaking marks a proud and historic moment for FICEP Corporation and the entire FICEP Group. We extend our warmest congratulations to our U.S. subsidiary for this remarkable achievement, which not only reflects a bold investment in the future of the North American market but also exemplifies our shared vision of innovation and partnership. The new Alpharetta headquarters will stand as a testament to what can be accomplished through dedication, collaboration, and a forward-looking mindset. We celebrate this milestone together and look forward to the many successes this new chapter will bring.
